AppTapp Installer 5 is a package manager that is a great Cydia alternative for all jailbroken devices. It is packed with many features, works fast, and is frequently updated with new features. Installer 5 supports iOS 11 through iOS 16.

The app offers a clean and modern interface that is easy to navigate. The home tab shows a list of featured jailbreak tweaks, the most downloaded packages, must-have tweaks and themes, and hacks to extend your apps. From here, you can also access the Settings pane.

After installing, AppTapp Installer 5 will import all repositories from other package managers, so you don't have to waste time manually adding new sources. All packages are displayed on a clean interface with all the information you need, including the current version, category, what's new, description, developer name, reviews, dependencies, conflicts, developer website link, repository name, and more.

You can now follow your favorite repositories and developers and be notified when they release a new package. This social feature can be useful for finding great tweaks or apps among the thousands of packages that are released every day by the community.

Installer 5 recognizes the same package available through different repositories, allowing you to choose which one to install on your device. Installed packages can be easily uninstalled, reinstalled, downgraded, or ignored for updates. There is also a Wishlist where you can add interesting tweaks and apps.

The section tab contains a list of shortcuts to all packages, installed packages, updated packages, new packages, and installed repositories. From here, you can also browse repositories and view a combined list of packages from all sources in categories.

The Manage tab displays installed packages and sources. At a glance, you can see recent changes in repositories, available and installed packages, refresh all sources, add new ones, and export packages and repository lists in text format. There is also a package search engine.

Support for iOS 10 and lower has been dropped in version 5.0. Installer 5.1 beta is available for download, with a complete redesign and a major backend rewrite that includes several new features and bug fixes. You can get it from the beta repo.

AppTapp Installer 5 supports free and paid repositories. You can buy and restore purchases from repos directly in the package manager. You can also manage available store accounts and purchases directly from the app settings, view the list of followed developers, and check the download history.

The app comes with a built-in backup creator, allowing you to save your Installer setup for quick restoration. Installer 5 itself can also be customized to your liking. You can enable biometric authentication for tasks, show incompatible packages, play a sound for tasks, or show beta packages.

AppTapp provides some settings to customize the interface style. You can manually change Installer 5's style to blue, gray, or OLED dark modes, or enable the auto-style switch to change the style based on system settings. The app can also clear icons and screenshots cache to save space.

AppTapp Installer offers a clean and user-friendly interface, making it easy to browse and install packages from various repositories. With support for iOS 9 and up, you can use it on a wide range of devices.
